Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel says India has gained global respect under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, emerging as a trusted international partner. He highlights India’s growing influence and recognition on the world stage as a “friend of the world.”
Speaking in Gandhinagar, Patel credited the Prime Minister’s decisive and visionary leadership for reshaping India’s global identity. According to him, India has moved beyond being viewed solely as a developing nation and has instead emerged as a reliable and respected partner in global affairs. He noted that India’s engagement with the international community has strengthened across diplomatic, strategic, and cooperative domains, contributing to a positive and influential presence worldwide.
The Chief Minister emphasised that India’s enhanced standing is the result of consistent efforts to promote dialogue, cooperation, and mutual trust with countries across regions. He said that this approach has not only elevated India’s voice on global forums but has also reinforced its role as a nation that supports peace, collaboration, and shared progress.
Patel further observed that the growing respect for India internationally is a matter of pride for citizens and reflects the country’s expanding responsibilities on the global stage. He underlined that India’s evolution into what he described as a “Vishva Mitra,” or friend of the world, signals a broader transformation in its foreign relations and international engagement.
Concluding his remarks, the Chief Minister said that India’s rising global credibility under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership marks a significant phase in the country’s journey, positioning it as a nation whose partnerships and perspectives are increasingly valued worldwide.
